Mitchell & Ness were launching their AFL Icons collection at the biggest Grand Final party on the calendar. Among a sea of media, brands, and players keen to let their hair down, how the hell were we going to get people’s attention?

Easy. We dragged Trevor Marmalade out of retirement and back behind the bar to sling free beers and cheap shots, suited Kick It Forward up for hosting duties despite the casual dress code, and whisked Bucks, Micky ‘O and Trev aside for what ended up (and still is) the brand’s biggest social post ever.

Oh, and the t-shirts sold out in record time.
